🛠 How to Build

  1. Pick a Painfully Specific Niche
Don’t go broad - go surgical. “Startup insights” is vague. “Benchmarked ARR and churn data on bootstrapped SaaS tools under $10M” is hyper-specific and worth paying for.

  2. Decide the Format
Will you offer PDFs, Notion databases, Airtable dashboards, interactive tools, gated blog posts, design templates, or all of the above?

  3. Create 10X Content First
Build 3–5 absolute bangers. The kind of content people would gladly pay for if they saw it standalone. This becomes your anchor content.

  4. Choose Your Stack

    • Landing Page: Framer / Carrd / Lovable

    • Payment: LemonSqueezy / Stripe / Paddle

    • Content Delivery: Notion, Airtable, Memberstack, Gumroad, or a private blog behind Ghost/WordPress/Lovable

  5. Set Pricing Right

    • One-time: Good for evergreen content

    • Subscription: Better for ongoing value or growing libraries

    • Hybrid: Offer a lifetime tier or upsell from one-time → subscription

  6. Gate with a Purpose
Lock the content behind a strong hook. A teaser preview, a sample report, or a free “lite” version works well.

🚀 How to Grow

  • Build in Public (But Tease the Goods)
Share screenshots, insights, and frameworks from inside your library. Don’t just say “we added 5 new resources” — show why they matter.

  • Create SEO-Optimised Free Content
Blog posts and teardown summaries with a CTA to access the full library are a low-effort, compounding growth channel.

  • Leverage Niche Distribution Channels

    • Indie Hackers

    • Twitter/X

    • Subreddits (carefully)

    • Slack/Discord groups

    • Product Hunt launches

    • Beehiiv Boost or SparkLoop if newsletter-aligned

  • Incentivise Word of Mouth
Add referral perks (free months, bonus content, affiliate payouts). People love sharing exclusive things that make them look smart.

  • Use Content as Acquisition
Treat your updates as marketing. Every time you drop a new asset, write an email, post a thread, or turn it into a carousel or video.

  • Package & Repurpose
Bundle related content into themed “packs” (e.g. Fundraising Toolkit, AI Trend Reports, Q4 Strategy Vault). Then relaunch.
