🛠 How to Build:

Ok so here’s how this model works:

Step 1: The Newsletter

You create a newsletter using Beehiiv or Kit for overseas talent seeking remote jobs in the USA/UK/Canada/Australia in your chosen niche.

  • For example, a newsletter for Software Developers in India, LATAM & South-East Asia.

  • Newsletter subscribers in these markets are generally very cheap compared to the USA so you can scale very quickly.

Step 2: The Content

You include sections for:

  • Educational content

  • Remote job listings

  • Industry news

  • Polls

Step 3: Job Board

Create a free job board using Niceboard or JBoard or Smart Job Board and reach out to companies in the USA/UK/Canada/Australia to post remote jobs for your niche.

After you have enough jobs listed you can start charging companies to boost their listings to your newsletter audience.

Step 4: Extra Monetization

Create a course for your niche and sell it to your international audience. For example, a digital marketing course

Step 5: The Agency

You can also create a recruitment agency like Somewhere.com (formerly Support Shepherd) and charge 10-20% of the first-year salary as a placement fee.

You can also charge a membership fee to your subscribers for exclusive jobs and resources.

🚀 How to Grow:

  • Meta Ads: You can run ads in these markets and get subscribers for very cheap (like $0.25/sub). At that cost, you’d only need to spend $5k before reaching 20k subscribers.

  • SEO-Optimized Content: Create blog posts or a resource section on your site about “remote job trends,” “overseas hiring,” etc., to attract organic search traffic.

  • Job Board Partnerships: Partner with job boards for cross-promotions, adding your newsletter as a “recommended resource” on their platform.

  • Referral Program: Incentivize current subscribers to refer friends with rewards, like access to premium job listings or exclusive guides.

  • LinkedIn Groups: Engage in LinkedIn groups focused on remote work, freelancing, and international employment to share insights and drive traffic.

  • Lead Magnets: Offer free resources (e.g., salary guides or remote work checklists) in exchange for email sign-ups.

  • Guest Posts/Collaborations: Write guest articles on sites or blogs that focus on remote work and international business.
